Falcon Scott
Patron
Is the official patron of the expedition. Falcon is the only grandson of Antarctic explorer Captain Robert Scott and son of naturalist Peter Scott. Falcon has been to Antarctica multiple times including the South Pole and has also worked on restoring his grandfather’s hut on Ross Island in Antarctica. He lives with his wife in Argyll on the west coast of Scotland.

Dr. Darren Slevin
Co-expedition member/leader
Is a Data Scientist for NatWest Group in Edinburgh and lives with his wife Jan and son Ailbe. He moved to Edinburgh 12 years ago to study for a PhD in Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. He has stayed in Edinburgh since then. In his free time, he likes to go hiking and camping in the Scottish Highlands and is currently trying to complete a round of the Munros.

Nathan Lumb
Co-expedition member/leader
Is a Project Manager at the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) in Manchester. He lives with his partner Laura, daughter Millie and their campervan. Outside of work, he likes to go climbing and bouldering, and cross-country skiing in Norway. While training for this expedition Nathan managed to complete his MBA at the University of Manchester.

Dr. Ulyana Horodyskyj Peña
Science Lead
Is a glaciologist with extensive experience in science communication. She received her Masters from Brown University, PhD from CU Boulder, and completed a post-doc with the National Snow and Ice Data Center. When not at work, you can find her either on a ship in the Arctic/Antarctic, or out in the mountains of Colorado with her husband, Ricardo, climbing the state's highest peaks.
